The Jayhawks Tacoma Concert reviews
STP is back on track
The Jayhawks is undoubtedly one of the best rock bands vocally out there. The amazing hits from the past by The Jayhawks were played for more than half the set list. Some of the newer songs lack the umph that the originals from past albums have. At one point, Scott acknowledged this by saying "ok, time to wake you all up". Surprisingly, the event was not sold out, with literally hundreds, if not thousands, of open seating sections in the second and third tier of Jones Beach Theater. Maybe it's a sign of the times, maybe it's due to uncertainty about Scott Weiland being in rehab or showing up. Nonetheless, I'm glad he did and rooting for his band to stick around for another decade.
